FiLo workshop, iCES, Regent’s College, 18th September 2009, 10am-4pm
The first Fieldwork in London Network Workshop was hosted by the Institute of Contemporary European Studies (iCES), at Regent’s College, London, on the 18th September 2009.
The workshop aimed to launch the network, provide an opportunity for members to meet each other and learn about each other’s work in a welcoming and casual setting, while at the same time addressing some key issues to conducting research in London. Professor John Eade (Roehampton University) and Professor Daniel Miller (UCL) were the keynote speakers. Many FiLo members also presented their work in Poster format. We ended the workshop with a guided tour of London and drinks at the Pub.
The workshop was funded and supported by iCES – Institute of Contemporary European Studies; the Student Enterprise Fund from the Career Development and Employment Centre of University of Sussex, and the University of Sussex.
Here are some photos from that wonderful day in London!
